French is my 3rd period, and one of my electives. My French teacher is Madame Hutchison. I decided to take French because I already know two languages which are Spanish, and English so I thought it would be good to learn another language.
In french class we have been learning many vocabulary words. Some things that we have been learning are how to say the colors, weather, objects, and numbers in French. The basic thing that we have been doing is using Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone is a site where you go to if you take a foreign language.
In French we have learned about some verbs and how to use them correctly. We know how to tell when a sentence talks about a male or female. I've also learned how to use the verb "do" in any sentence. One of the main things we have been learning are numbers. We have learned our numbers from one through 100. I think that learning all these things are important because when you say a sentence you know you are saying it correctly, and the numbers help a lot too. I really liked learning all these things because they are helpful.
This semester in French we learned a lot about how to say the different types of body parts. The body parts that we learned are head, arms, legs, hands, feet, hair, stomach, and back. We had to learn about our body parts because we were gonna have a test on how to say all the parts. I think learning about the body parts was nice to learn because it can be very helpful when you need something or are injured and talking to someone who only speaks French.
This fourth semester what we have been doing is studying everything from the previous semesters. We are now reviewing everything all over for the finals. The final exam we will be taking is based on everything we have been learning. I think that French was very easy to learn. I think that for me this was easy to learn because some words have Spanish bases. I really enjoy learning French and knowing a third language now.
